China has well defined certification schemes for electr(on)ic products, e.g. covering ITE, and radio/telecom equipment.

MIIT Radio approval

Radio and telecommunication equipment requires approval from the MIIT. Equipment shall be maked with the CMIIT ID: yearXYZZZZ, where X is indicating the equipment type, Y the the origin (import or domestic) and ZZZZ the follow up number. Certificates can be issued to foreign companies. Depending on the product specification, Teleconformity can make a correct judgement of what needs to be done.

Import Permit

Last but not least (or maybe this is already required in an early stage of the approval application), a so called Import Permit is required for certain electr(on)ic equipment. Teleconformity can advise or arrange this for you.

CCC / CQC approval

CCC certification concerns all Safety and/or EMC aspects for equipment that is listed as "regulated". For example, ITE class 2 power adapters and power cords are regulated. Equipment shall be tested according to the applicable Guo Biao standard(s) and marked with the CCC logo and approval number. Initial and follow up factory inspections are required. CQC is the voluntary scheme from the same state regualted entity, and obtaining CQC for equipment not nisted in the mandatory CCC scheme is encouraged by the Chinese government. Depending on the product specification, Teleconformity can make a correct judgement of what needs to be done.

NAL approval

NAL approal is required for telecommunication equipment that is connected to the public networks. NAL labels are issued by the authority and the certified equipment shall be maked with the NAL label. Depending on the product specification, Teleconformity can make a correct judgement of what needs to be done.

MPS permit

Hardware and software making use of security systems or algorithms require a sales permit from the Ministry of Public Secuerity. Currently several products are covered. Teleconformity can advise wether required and if so, arrange this permit on behalf of you.

RoHS

Please consider the RoHS requirements that currently count in China. This is the governmental RoHS website of P.R. China. Teleconformity can advise and guide you to obtain RoHS compliancy for export to China.
