Malaysia has well defined mandatory certification schemes for electronic and electric products, as wel for radio and telecom interfaces.

SIRIM approval

SIRIM approval is required for all electric, electronic, radio and telecommunication equipment. In country evaluation is required. Own label desing is not valid. Certified products shall instead be marked with SIRIM labels that need to be purchased at SIRIM. Depending on the product specification, Teleconformity can make a correct judgement of what needs to be done.
