C-tick approval

C-tick approval is mandatory for radio and/or telecommunication equipment. Radio and EMC are both covered under the C-tick scheme. C-tick can be filed under sDoC by an ACMA registered Australian entity or by a RSM registered New Zealand entity. EMC can also be jointly registered using an Australian holder, but Radio must be registered with a New Zealand holding company. The equipment shall be marked with the C-tick logo and business number (there are some alternatives instead of business number). Teleconformity can offer a local representative in New Zealand to "hold" your C-tick filing. Depending on the product specification, Teleconformity can make a correct judgement of what needs to be done.

Safety approval

Safety approvals are applicable for certain electric, electronic equipment. These are issued by state regulatory authority in Australia or New Zealand. An alternative to the regular safety authority schemes are the "standards mark" or type test approval. Depending on the product specification, Teleconformity can make a correct judgement of what needs to be done.

An alternative to the C-tick and Safety approval is the combined RCM mark. This mark is valid in as wel New Zealand as Australia. Please ask us if you would like to know more! Furthermore, remind that the Australian and New Zealand regulatroy systems are similar, but not totally equal.
