Iraq, based on Law No. 54 of 1979 (article 3, clause 8) to protect consumers, producers, environment, public safety and national economy, COSEQC implements import inspections, by establishing 5 laboratories in the border Governorate Centers and border points with neighboring countries. Electr(on)ic goods are also subject to inspections.
