The Broadband world forum 2011 Europe will be organized in Paris/France from September 27-29, for MEA in Dubai/UAE from March 14-15, and for Asia in Kuala Lumpur/Malaysia from May 10-11.
In addition, the ip&tv world forum 2011 Europe will be organized in London/UK from March 22-24, for MEA in Dubai/UAE from November 1-2, and for Asia in Kuala Lumpur/Malaysia from May 10-11.

Since the IEC 2009 GM held in Tel Aviv, IEC welcomed several new members. Chile, Oman, UAE joined as full members and Morocco, Jordan and Georgia joined as associate members, while Brunei Darussalam, Bolivia, El Salvador, Honduras, Namibia, Rwanda, Uruguay and Zambia joined as affiliate members.

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has participated in the 14th Arab Spectrum Management Group (ASMG) that was commenced from 2010/11/29 till 2010/12/02 in Lebanon, hosted by TRA under the patronage of His Excellency Charbel Nahas, Minister of Telecommunications.

UAE (United Arab Emirates) TRA requires registering of the tradename/brand before applying for approval. The requirement was introduces on 2010/03/10. A brand registration will remain valid for 5 years, upon renewal.
