Ukraine, as of 2012, Ukraine introduces Declaration of Conformity for Electrical Safety for most products, replacing mandatory safety certification for most products. Safety certification though may ease the process of import registration. Energy efficiency requirements and RoHS requirements under preparation, and may become mandatory soon.

In 2011, the Ukraine conformity mark UKR-SEPRO (on the product, package or user manual) will become mandatory and enforced by surveillances. In line with government decree 785 , EMC approval can be done by DoC, which has to be registered, but there is no longer a need to apply together with Safety.
