India, WPC DOT legal reference REGD.NO.D.L-33004/99 published on 2008-06-30, delicensing RFID equipment working in the 865-867 MHz band, allowing a maximum of 4 Watt erp and a 20 dB bandwidth of 200 kHz, whereas timing requirements are not specified. Spurious emission requirements are based on "not disturbing other users", thus applying international unwanted emission limits which are a direct responsibility for the manufacturer or registration holder.

Europe, OJ C 389 published on 17 November 2017 shows the latest harmonised Standards for the Medical Device Directive (MDD). Please note that from 25 May 2020, both the Medical Device Direcetive 93/42/EC and the directive on active implantable medical devices 90/385/EC will be fully replaced by the new Medical Device Regulation (MDR).
